The Prima Series of professional shower door hinges are able to accommodate 5/16 to 3/8 inch (8 to 10 millimeter) tempered safety glass. A variety of four styles, including Wall Mount and Glass-to-Glass types, gives design flexibility. They are made of solid brass with all moving parts (pins and springs) in stainless steel. Prima Shower Door Hinges are self-centering, with four springs for maximum retention strength. Optional 5 Degree Pivot Pin Sets are available to accommodate "off angle" installations. Some advantages of pivot type shower door hinges include the fact that they carry the majority of the weight on the bottom, and have the ability to be inset from the wall, enabling clearance for towel bars and other projections. These shower door hinges are available in a variety of finishes and are used by several frame-less shower door manufacturers.
