This Truth Hardware Foot Operated Patio Door Lock is made from a high impact plastic with a spring loaded 5/16 inch (8 millimeter) diameter steel pin. The housing securely mounts to the patio door face with four mounting screws, the pin extends and locks 1/2 inch (12.7 millimeter) with a slight downward push, then releases with the tap of your toe on the housings face. Truth Hardware's patio door lock is used by several patio door manufacturers.
