HomeGard locks offer a strong detent which consistently provides a more secure feeling during lock up. These Truth Hardware window sash locks can withstand negative air pressure of 275 lbs. per lock. This replacement window lock is easy to install and is used by several window manufacturers. Common numbers that can be found on this "HomeGard" Sash Lock are 21328 and 45189. The recommended screws for wood applications are 2 pieces of #8 x 1.25 Phillips, Flat Head, Sheet Metal Screws. The recommended screws for PVC and Metal applications are 2 pieces of #8 Phillips, Flat Head Screws.
